I know that this comment that I am responding to is over a year old, but you seem to be quite knowledgeable of the American Indian culture, that I thought maybe you could answer a question that I have wondered about for a long time. Is it true that the tribal medicine man was to be gay... and part of his duty was to help the young male braves with their sexual needs until marriage?
That is a so beautiful movie ... we can see real love ... I would love to meet such partner in real life

What a beautiful movie! I had heard and read that there were Indian tribes where males who chose males as partners were not turned upon, but were as part of the tribe. Thank you DaddyBud and Oakforrest. I'd love to know who the actor was who played the Indian. Very believable and also a hot young man!
